Jessabelle and Predestination star Sarah Snook, who hails from Australia, has been cast in the title role of ABC‘s pilot “Clementine,” written by Dean Georgaris (Tristan + Isolde, Paycheck) and directed by Michael Dinner (“Justified,” “The Wonder Years”).
The storyline revolves around a troubled young psychic who sees her life changing in unexpected ways once she decides to stop running from her past and face her fears.
David Strathairn, who last lit up the small screen in “Alphas” and will soon be seen in Godzilla, was recently cast as Clementine’s father. Edwin Hodge (The Purge, The Purge 2) will play Dr. Anthony Little, her best friend and confidant. A doctor by trade with a wicked sense of humor, he stands by his psychic friend no matter how complicated life gets.
Look for more soon depending on what the network decides to do with the show.
