ABC Hoping Clementine Will Be Its Next Darling

ABC looks to be dipping its toes in the “supernatural drama” pool again as word has come that the network has ordered a pilot for “Clementine,” which Mark Gordon (“Criminal Minds,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) is executive producing. Details are sparse, but here’s what we know so far…

Per The Wrap, the storyline, written by Dean Georgaris (Tristan + Isolde, Paycheck), revolves around a habitual criminal who digs into the mystery of her origins after she becomes the target of a group of zealots who fear she possesses latent supernatural abilities that she will one day harness for either profound good or monstrous evil.

Along with The Mark Gordon Co., Nicholas Pepper and Ilene Staple are also executive producing.
