TV Guide landed the first look at Chloë Sevigny (“Big Love,” “American Horror Story: Asylum”) as Pittsburgh homicide detective Catherine Jensen. Apparently Catherine – who enlists a forensic psychiatrist (James D’Arcy) to help determine if her stepfather (Bruce Davison) is a serial killer – has a few demons of her own.
“Is she a bad cop? I don’t know,” Sevigny told the Guide. “She’s definitely taking advantage of her position.”
The project, which hails from Imagine Television and Fox 21, is an adaptation of a Danish crime series based on the books by Elsebeth Egholm and revolves around police detective Catherine Jensen (Sevigny) and forensic profiler Thomas Schaffer (D’Arcy), who possess a deep understanding of the serial killers they hunt.
Joe Carnahan directed the pilot from a script by Glen Morgan. Morgan (“The X-Files,” “Millennium,” Final Destination), Carnahan (Narc, The Grey), Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, Peter Bose, and Jonas Allen executive produce.
