Monsterz to Be Turned Loose in Japan

The Land of the Rising Sun has long been a hotbed for new horror movies. Now that we’ve all survived the J-Horror saturation craze here in the United States, we can finally welcome in some new Far East-flavored frights with open arms.

Below you’ll find the first trailer and artwork for Monsterz (a remake of the 2011 Korean film Haunters) from the masterful director Hideo Nakata. Battle Royale‘s Fujiwara Tatsuya stars along with Takayuki Yamada and Satomi Ishihara.

Synopsis:
The story pitches together a psychic with supernatural powers and the ability to control other people’s minds against the one man who is able to resist him.
