Be warned: It begins with me rapping.
Anyone who has read my writings or listened to Dinner for Fiends or the Foycast over the years should already be well aware of my love for Maniac Cop 2. Love of this magnitude cannot be adequately conveyed with mere words on the printed paper or scrolling text on a computer screen. That’s why I asked fellow Maniac Cop fan Matt Fini to join me to record a short audio review that quickly exploded into an hour-long Foycast. I was a fool to think we could cover the awesomeness that is Maniac Cop 2 and its deeply troubled (in front of and behind the scenes) follow-up Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence and their fully-loaded Blu-rays in such a short amount of time.
Hear how a double-feature audio review becomes a special edition of the Foycast covering the special edition releases of the second and third installments of the Maniac Cop trilogy. There’s laughing, there’s joking, there’s praise, there’s criticism, there’s debate, and most importantly, there’s me freestyling the Maniac Cop 2 rap.
Matt Cordell would definitely tell me I have the right to remain silent forever for that last part. You may, too, after hearing me bust a rhyme.
This fourteenth edition of the Foycast is dedicated to the madman in blue: Maniac Cop.
