Neil Marshall NOT Writing and Directing Skull Island: Blood of the King

So the Internet is swirling with rumors today regarding Neil Marshall writing and directing the Skull Island: Blood of the King. Rather than just jump and report it, we figured we’d reach out and find out for ourselves if there’s any truth to this.

When asked if Marshall, who is currently in Ireland filming “Game of Thrones,” was working on this latest project, Neil replied (and we quote), “I am? Really?” So… there goes that!

Skull Island: Blood of the King, is to become an animated project at FOX after Spirit Entertainment acquired the rights in ’09. We’ll keep you posted on any further developments.
