Can you believe it’s already been 20 years since Jason Goes To Hell was released into theaters? Billed as The Final Friday, the film was of course anything but, though it would be another 8 years before Jason was brought back to life, with the futuristic Jason X.

In celebration of Jason Goes To Hell‘s 20th anniversary, the film’s writer Dean Lorey took to his website to talk about the making of the movie, revealing all in an interesting and lengthy blog post that ends with an admission that the finished product might not be all that good, but that the experience was altogether a terrific one for the writer.

If you find yourself with a few minutes to spare, check out the post over on Dean Lorey’s website, which is a must read for all fans of the franchise…yes, even the ones who didn’t quite care for this particular installment!
