The cast for Dark Places continues to expand as the little girl who played Brad Pitt’s daughter in World War Z, Sterling Jerins, has signed on to deal with more spooky situations in the flick. Read on for the latest!

Variety reports that Jerins, who also starred in The Conjuring, will play the younger version of Charlize Theron’s character. Corey Stoll, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Moretz also star with Gilles Brenner set to direct the adaptation of the 2009 Gillian Flynn book.

Flynn’s novel Dark Places was published in 2009 and was listed on the New York Times Best Seller List for more than 25 weeks. The book was also shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award and won the Dark Scribe Magazine Black Quill Award for Dark Genre Novel of the Year. Gilles Paquet-Brenner is writing and directing the adaptation.
