Mad magazine, yes, that Mad magazine, has long been a staple of our lives. Even cooler, when it comes to dabbling in the macabre world of horror, Alfred E. Newman and company revel in it! Case in point: this exclusive look at one of their upcoming features.

Below you’ll find your first look at “Chilling Thoughts” by Evan Dorkin from the upcoming War on Privacy issue of Mad, which will hit stands on August 24! That’s right; you get to see it, right here and right now, on us. You don’t have to spend a single red cent. How’s that for cheap? The only thing we’re missing is a wacky fold image for you to groove on, but hey, we are limited by technology. Of course the magazine itself is free from such digital constraints.

Speaking of which, you owe it to yourself to go a little Mad! Click here to subscribe. They’re running a pretty neat special.

You can check out Dorkin’s goodies below along with the cover, which by the way is the first time that Spy vs. Spy has graced the cover…. just in time for their 60th Anniversary. Took ’em long enough. Either way, click on the toon below for a better look!
