#SDCC 2013: Online Comic Bridges the Gap Between Rise and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

We all know that in the latest film universe of the Planet of the Apes, some time has passed between the Rise and the Dawn. Wondering what took place during that period? Well, a new online comic called Before the Dawn has started filling in the blanks.

The 20th Century Fox San Diego Comic-Con panel, which includes Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, will be held on Saturday, July 20, in Hall H so look for more soon.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to be released on July 18, 2014, and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo, Toby Kebbell, Enrique Murciano and Judy Greer.

Synopsis
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
