Sharknado 2 Is a Go; Help Name It and Celebrate with this New Sharknado Remix

Yep, Sharknado 2 is a go, and per Deadline, this time the flying sharks will attack Manhattan. Look for it in 2014. In the meantime, the network is holding a Twitter contest to name the movie. Tweet your submissions to @SyfyMovies using #Sharknado.

“Every once in a while, there is a perfect storm — on television. The fans are clamoring for a sequel. Or perhaps it will be a prequel,” the NBCUniversal-owned network’s EVP Programming Thomas Vitale said in today’s announcement.
