Thrillers are thriving on Netflix at the moment. We are practically gifted a new batch every week. Although many have been awesome lately, so we’re not complaining. However, only one can be in the top spot. This week the deadly Kill Boksoon is #1 on the Films (Non-English) chart.
In the film, Boksoon leads a double life – she is both a mother of a teenage daughter and the legendary professional killer at the top-tier killing agency MK Ent. Caught between the mission of killing someone and the mission of raising someone, Boksoon refuses to complete an assigned mission and is thrown into an inevitable fight.
Kill Boksoon is directed by Sung-hyun Byun. It stars Jeon Do-yeon, Esom, Hwang Jung-min, and Fahim Fazli.
The movie landed on Netflix this weekend and started kicking butt immediately. Many viewers are comparing it to John Wick. However, most fans are praising Jeon Do-yeon’s performance while being left in awe of the cinematic experience as a whole.
Many Netflix viewers ran to Twitter to praise Kill Boksoon, but one fan specifically caught our attention:
Tjahjanto is responsible for the nightmare fuel known as May The Devil Take You. So when he tweets about something being cool shit and gets excited by the violence, we know it’s about to be a wild time.
However, if all these glowing recommendations cannot convince you to hit play, see this new icon in action in the trailer below.
