Shed is the story of some backwoods cannibals (of which Kelly plays one alongside Joshua (Aunt Rose) Nelson, Susie Andriensen, Robert Norman, and Flesh for the Beast director Terry M. West) dealing with encroaching suburbia and the difficulties of having a craving for human flesh in this modern age. If it’s anywhere near as cool as I’ll Bury You Tomorrow, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for it!
Kelly has also just finished work on his new segment for Hung By a Thread called “A Far Cry From Home.” Michael T. Schneider, who co-wrote August Underground’s Mordum, is working on his chapter “…And Then I Helped,” and Freak director Tyler Tharpe will round it out with his entry “Crack – Then Split.”
With Schneider on board, who also did a lot of the effects for Mordum, you can be sure we’re in for some truly skillful looking nastiness. Kelly enthused that Shneider has also been on-set for all the films to make sure continuity between the stories is maintained, always a good thing for anthologies!
