Indie filmmaker Joshua Hull (Beverly Lane) dropped us a line to let us know what’s happening with his latest genre offering- The Ballad of Sadie Grace. Read on for the latest sliver of indie shiver.

Hull announced this weekend that horror icon Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, Texas Chainsaw 3D) is attached to play the lead in the slasher-comedy; plot details are being kept under wraps for now, but Moseley will play a small- town sheriff who has been hunting local legend “Sadie Grace” for years.

The Ballad of Sadie Grace was written by standup comedian Josh Arnold (The Impersonators) and will be directed by Hull. Bryan Wilson (Underground Entertainment: The Movie) will produce, and David M. Brewer (Insidious) has been brought onto the project as the Director Of Photography.

Production on The Ballad of Sadie Grace is set to begin mid-2013. For more information check out the official The Ballad of Sadie Grace website or “like” The Ballad of Sadie Grace on Facebook.
