Broke Horror Fan will unleash Joe Lynch’s Mayhem on limited edition, fully-functional VHS via WitterEntertainment.com this Friday, February 19th.
It arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with newly commissioned artwork by Chris Barnes. 100 copies are all that are coming with 25 on red VHS tapes.
Each tape includes a letter from director Joe Lynch and exclusive introductions by actor Steven Brand and cinematographer Steve Gainer (Super, Punisher: War Zone). Stay tuned after the movie for a special feature: Creating Mayhem featurette.
For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. RLJE Films officially licensed the film. And director Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2, Everly, Point Blank, Knights of Badassdom) approved.
Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) stars along with Samara Weaving (Bill & Ted Face the Music, Ready or Not), and Steven Brand (Teen Wolf, The Scorpion King).
Derek Cho (Yeun) is having a really bad day. After being unjustly fired from his job, he discovers that the law firm’s building is under quarantine for a mysterious and dangerous virus. Chaos erupts throughout the office as the victims of the disease begin acting out their wildest impulses. Joining forces with a former client (Weaving) who has a grudge of her own, Derek savagely fights tooth and nail to get to the executives on the top floor and settle the score once and for all.
