San Diego Comic-Con 2012: The Rock Confirms Lobo Involvement

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson makes headlines wherever he goes because, well, he’s The Rock, and that’s all your candy ass needs to know. Over the weekend at Comic-Con the people’s champ confirmed his Lobo involvement via Twitter.

“Rumors of me possibly playing LOBO are true. Joel Silver and Brad Peyton working on it now. That could be fun.

Lobo is an alien that works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Introduced as a hardened, rarely used hard-boiled villain in the 1980s, the character remained in limbo until his revival as an anti-hero biker in the early 1990s, when he became one of the most popular and bloodier characters in the DC Comics stable.

The character also appeared in a short film played by Andrew Bryniarski (Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake). Check it out below.
