Netflix and Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation animated series will bring the classic version of He-Man back to the small screen.

This new show serves as a follow-up to the classic 80s animated series. And recently, Smith talked a bit more about the upcoming series.

Smith tells Comic-Con@Home: “[Netflix’s Ted Biasseli] said, ‘All I’m asking you to do is tell a story that makes me feel like I felt when I was a kid again. Make me feel invested in these characters. I want to feel scared for them. I want to feel there are stakes’ … ‘Treat this IP…like Shakespeare.'”

Check out the video below.

The killer cast includes Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Henry Rollins, Jason Mewes, Kevin Conroy, and Chris Wood as He-Man.

No release date has been set as of yet.
