In San Diego twin brothers Jeff and Chris Speed are best known for their Blacklist Art & Film Festival, but they also have their own production company, Halo of Flies, and sent over a behind-the-scenes look at “The Fatal Feast” music video they recently shot for Municipal Waste.

Here’s how Jeff, who has relocated to Los Angeles in order to get more work going up there, describes the sci-fi/horror-themed music video, “It’s a total bloodbath with spaceship miniatures and practical effects created by my brother, Chris. I wrote and directed it, and Chris did the production design – building the miniature ships, gore door gag, beer cooler, etc. We try and keep most of our special effects practical since that aesthetic always looks the coolest.

As for Municipal Waste, they’re a speed metal punk band out of Richmond, Virginia, comprised of Tony Foresta – Vocals, Ryan Waste – Guitar, Land Phil – Bass, and Dave Witte – Drums. “The Fatal Feast” features guest vocals by John Connelly (of Nuclear Assault).

Check out the video and our gallery of stills from the shoot below, and for more info visit the official Halo of Flies website and “like” Municipal Waste on Facebook.
