Jessica Biel Walks the Miles to Hitchcock Role

More casting news is coming in for Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, as the second leading lady role has been filled and is ready to check into that lonely motel with the spooky house behind it!

According to Deadline, Jessica Biel (pictured right) committed today to the second female lead in the Sacha Gervasi-directed Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho. Biel will play the role of Vera Miles, who played Lila Crane in the 1960 classic. Anthony Hopkins plays Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson will play Janet Leigh, Helen Mirren will play Alma Reville and James D’Arcy is reportedly up for the role of Anthony Perkins.

Gervasi’s film follows Hitchcock and his struggles during the making of the horror classic.

John McLaughlin penned the script. Ivan Reitman, Joe Medjuck and Tom Pollack will produce through their Montecito Picture Company along with Tom Thayer.
