One of my favorite films to screen at Fantastic Fest last September was VFW, the latest frenetic shocker for director Joe Begos (Almost Human, Bliss). Synopsis:
A group of war veterans must defend their local VFW post and an innocent teen against a deranged drug dealer and his relentless army of punk mutants.
Begos directs from a screenplay penned by Max Brallier and Matthew McArdle; the powerhouse ensemble cast features Martin Kove, Stephen Lang, Sierra McCormick, and William Sadler.
