Warner Bros. plans to release the trailer for horror-thriller Chernobyl Diaries, coming on Memorial Day weekend, tomorrow, March 16th; and to whet your appetites a bit, they’ve shared the first still from the flick, which of course we have right here!

Chernobyl Diaries, an original story by Paranormal Activity mastermind Oren Peli, is set in the city of Prypiat, which once housed the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, and follows a group of friends who, while vacationing in Europe, find themselves stranded in the abandoned city only to discover that they are not alone.

Production took place in September and October 2011 in Eastern Europe with Peli and Brian Witten (Dark City) producing and Brad Parker directing. Alcon Entertainment’s Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are exec producers. It was financed and sold internationally by FilmNation Entertainment.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the trailer debut!
