Happy Halloween, Dread Central readers! Vampires and Halloween go hand-in-hand, so you’re likely to meet many such bloodsuckers if you plan on going out tonight. In other vampire-related news, Netflix has just announced the premiere date for V Wars, along with some tasty images.
Look for V Wars, starring Ian Somerhalder, to arrive on the streaming giant on December 5th!
Synopsis:
Dr. Luther Swann (Somerhalder) enters a world of untold horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael Fayne, into a murderous predator who feeds on other humans. As the disease spreads and more people are transformed, society fractures into opposing camps pitting normal people against the growing number of these “vampires.” Swann races against time to understand what’s happening, while Fayne rises to become the powerful underground leader of the vampires.
Based on Jonathan Maberry’s best selling books, V Wars is helmed by showrunners William Laurin and Glenn Davis. In addition to Somerhalder, the 10-episode series features Adrian Holmes, Jacky Lai, Peter Outerbridge, Kyle Breitkopf, Kimberly-Sue Murray, Greg Bryck, and Anthony Grant.
