It’s Wednesday. Hump day isn’t as nearly as fun as it sounds, and you’re looking for something neat and nasty to get you through the day. That’s why we’re here. On tap is another short film which brings with it a high dosage of the creeps.

Below you’ll find director Riley Stearns’ short film Magnificat, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (The Thing, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and Stephen Tobolowsky (Memento, Groundhog Day, Buried).

Filmed over one weekend in Los Angeles during the summer of 2012 and clocking in at about thirteen minutes, Magnificat manages to pack in a whole of dread in its short runtime. Dig it!

Synopsis
A young woman is tormented by malevolent visions that begin to bleed into reality.
