Evil Dead Remake – Check out the Road to Evil

The Evil Dead remake has landed its leading man in Shiloh Fernandez (Deadgirl, Red Riding Hood), and now director Fede Alvarez has shared with the world another lead … the road that leads to the cabin! Dig it!

Produced by Sony Pictures, FilmDistrict and Ghost House Pictures, Evil Dead deals with five twenty-something friends who become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book of the Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

Alvarez directs the redo from his own screenplay co-written with Rodo Sayagues and Diablo Cody.

FilmDistrict’s reboot is aiming for release on April 12th, 2013.
