The Gods of horror movie distribution are smiling today, because Bloody Disgusting is pumping out the good news today, boy-o. This time around the focus is on Dario Argento’s third installment of the Mother series. It looks like the Weinstein Company and Anchor Bay have scooped up the pic along with the others we told you about earlier (“Weinsteins Nab Diary of the Dead” – September 2007).
There is no news on how the co-oping companies plan on releasing Mother to American audiences, but let’s hope it, at the very least, has a limited theatrical run. With any luck there will be more information about the movie’s fate as the Toronto International Film Festival continues.
