One of the biggest surprises at this year’s E3 was the reveal of a brand new Blair Witch video game, the first since 2000’s Blair Witch Volume III: The Elly Kedward Tale. Coming from Bloober Team, who are known for their games Layers of Fear and Observer, this new vision of terror has horror fans eagerly awaiting the August 30, 2019 release date.
We were lucky enough to spend a few minutes with members of Bloober Team to discuss the gameplay mechanics, the story, and how this title changed things for the development studio, which pushed themselves into new territory for one of horror’s biggest titles.
