Cultures and paranormal powers clash in the trailer for Stray, directed by Joe Sill. There’s definitely an X-Men vibe, but with the kind of supernatural terror we’ve seen in films like Terrified and The Grudge. Check out the trailer at the top of the article, followed by the poster, synopsis, and trailer below.

Synopsis:
An orphaned teenager teams up with the detective investigating her mother’s murder. They soon discover a supernatural force threatening the city and realize the teen possesses hidden powers of her own which might be the key to stopping it.

Still directed Stray from a screenplay penned by J.D. Dillard; the film stars Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), Japanese Pop Star Miyavi (Kong: Skull Island, Unbroken), Christine Woods (HBO’s Hello Ladies, NBC’s Perfect Couples), and Ross Partridge (Lamb).

Look for Stray in select theaters and VOD platforms beginning March 1st.
