Let’s Get a Handle on All of These VENOM Sequel Rumors

Sony’s Venom wasn’t the R-rated horror/superhero experience they originally promised, but the fact that it was such a huge financial success means a sequel is pretty much inevitable. As such, the rumor mill is already churning at full force, and our friends at Looper are helping us get a handle on everything.

Will Carnage have a bigger role om Venom 2? Will the sequel be rated PG-13 or R? Will Venom finally collide with Spiderman? Will Ruben Fleischer return to the director’s chair? Synopsis:
Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake’s experiments, Eddie’s body merges with the alien Venom — leaving him with superhuman strength and power. Twisted, dark and fueled by rage, Venom tries to control the new and dangerous abilities that Eddie finds so intoxicating.

Venom is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Riz Ahmed.
