Sad news as it’s been confirmed that Syfy has cancelled their creepypasta-based horror series Channel Zero after four seasons. Creator Nick Antosca made the announcement, saying, “I loved making this show and I would have loved to do more… but I can’t complain too much about doing 4 stories I loved with people who I loved working with.”

He thanked in particular several people associated with the show, including, “…our writers, our actors, our extraordinary crew, the artists who contributed, our editors and post team, our composer Jeff Russo, our team at Syfy and UCP. And especially the four awesome directors, Craig Macneill, Steven Piet, Arkasha Stevenson, and Evan Katz.”

He went on to thank the authors of the stories that birthed each season: Kris Straub, Brian Russell, Kerry Hammond, and Charlotte Bywater.

Each season of Channel Zero adapted a creepypasta for TV, starting with 2016’s “Candle Cove” and ending with last year’s “The Dream Door”.

We hope that another network will take interest in this series as it really was a genuine example of fantastic horror storytelling.
