You can check out Mr. H’s complete rundown in the video above. I’ll keep it brief here for those of you who enjoy going to films knowing as little as possible. I will reveal that Mr. H’s insider is familiar with the source material, and praised Marshall for staying true. I also feel comfortable revealing that the version screened was violent as fuck and very liberal with profanity. It sounds like we’re in store for a real roller coaster when Hellboy arrives in theaters on April 12th.
As for a leaked trailer for Hellboy, which stars David Harbour as the big red guy, Lionsgate did an extremely efficient job keeping it corraled. Still, I don’t think it would be unreasonably optimistic to expect to see an official trailer release in the coming weeks—if not sooner!
Synopsis:
Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.
In addition to Harbour, Hellboy stars Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, and Sasha Lane. Stay tuned for additional details as news emerges!
