Trailer & Poster for CHILD’S PLAY Fan Film CHARLES Are Creepy AF

As the original Child’s Play, launched by Tom Holland and Don Mancini in 1998, recently celebrated its 30^th Anniversary, fans of the franchise’s cups runneth over—kind of. While we’re excited about the TV series Mancini is hammering out at Universal, we’re also eyeing the unnecessary and competing reboot brewing over at Orion.

And in the thick of it all comes a trailer and poster for the Child’s Play fan film Charles (written and directed by Tony Bizz), and we’re, like, “Oh Hell yes!” While Cult of Chucky went back into horror-comedy territory and Orion’s reboot is taking a techno-terror angle, Charles looks like a return to the franchise’s spooky roots in true, unadulterated terror. The trailer and poster each convey a vibe certain to send shivers down your spine. Check ‘em out!

Synopsis:
A young couple moved into their first apartment & encounter a red-headed freckled doll. Soon they discover that their home & doll has an evil presence.
