See the film to find out whether the tyke survives, but here’s a fun bit of trivia: Jamie Lee Curtis is the voice of the baby! She revealed this fact during Halloween’s screening at this year’s Fantastic Fest in September, but made the audience swear we wouldn’t tell until the film was released. She even demonstrated the crying live—and it was spot on!
Halloween killed it at the box office this weekend (pun intended) smashing all previous franchise records. The film was directed by David Gordon Green from a script he co-wrote with Danny McBride and reunites Curtis with original Myers actor Nick Castle. Give the trailer and synopsis a look-see below.
Synopsis:
It’s been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she’s ready for him.
