Synopsis:
Influenced by the lyrics of Bob Dylan’s 1966 song “Visions of Johanna”, the surreal paintings of Rene Magritte, and the ever-elusive concept of living in the now, The Night Plays Tricks is both eerie and enchanting.
Written, directed, and edited by Staci Layne Wilson, The Night Plays Tricks stars Oraniz Nivor, Emma Julia Jacobs, Diane Ayala Goldner, and Michael Shane Armes. Color cinematography is by Justin Cruse, and black and white cinematography is by Elric Kane. Music is by Darren Smith (Repo! The Genetic Opera).
Staci tells us the actual film is projected to be six minutes long and will be complete and screening at film festivals shortly so look for more soon!
