First Look at Sweeney Todd

Yeah that’s pretty much what I’d expect a Tim Burton movie to look like. Aside from Big Fish, the man seems to love his various shades of gray, doesn’t he?

Bloody Disgusting got their rancid paws on the first official still from Burton’s Sweeney Todd, based on the Stephen Sondheim musical of the same name; in it you can see Depp as the titular Todd, with Helena Bonham Carter, another Burton regular, as Mrs. Lovett by this side. And boy do they look like they’re having fun!

Sweeney Todd belts its way into theaters come December 21st, be sure to keep an eye on its official site which should be opening its doors any day now!
