The first trailer for Tory Jones’ Angel has been released online, and it looks like we’re in for some some good old small town horror.

Angel, which was written and directed by Jones, follows a group of journalists hired by a wealthy contractor to search for clues about his daughter’s disappearance in an abandoned town. It stars Sonya Delormier, Cameryn Zupon, Tyler Riley, Chelsea Skalski, Brady A. Myers, and Talia Schade.

We interviewed Jones about the film last year, where he discussed everything from filming in possibly haunted locations to his decision for the story to feature a female antagonist. So if the trailer got you hyped, the interview is definitely worth checking out too.

Shawn Burkett, the director of Don’t Fuck in the Woods, is editing Angel, whilst Volumes of Blood creator P.J. Starks and Close Calls director Richard Stringham are both producing. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear news of a release date.
