Well, shooting on season two must have gone well because today Deadline confirms that the ten-episode second season will begin airing on the AT&T Audience Network August 22.
I didn’t watch the first season myself because I was hoping to read the book first… but that didn’t happen. Anyhow, I plan to catch up before season 2 begins airing this August.

The second season will also be based on King’s “Bill Hodges Trilogy” (Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers, and End of Watch) and hits AT&T Audience Network August 22.
Season 1 Synopsis:
Demented killer Brady Hartsfield (Treadaway) taunts retired police detective Bill Hodges (Gleeson) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.
