The last word we heard of the sequel to director Fede Alvarez’s new classic Don’t Breathe was back when the director told us:
“Don’t Breathe 2 is something we definitely want to do. The challenge obviously is [that] we just don’t want to do the same movie again, slap a 2 on it, and call it a day. We’d feel so embarrassed if we did that. “That’s Hollywood! That’s the devil! We don’t want to make a sequel just because we can. But then we got an idea that we’re really excited about, and I won’t tell you what it is because it will spoil the whole thing.”
With producer, Sam Raimi adding, “It’s only the greatest idea for a sequel that I’ve ever heard! I’m not kidding!
And if that wasn’t enough confirmation of Don’t Breathe 2 for you, today we have an update via Screen Rant where star Stephen Lang confidently told the site, “Oh yeah, we’re doing a sequel.”

Synopsis:
Rocky (Jane Levy), Alex and Money are three Detroit thieves who get their kicks by breaking into the houses of wealthy people. Money gets word about a blind veteran who won a major cash settlement following the death of his only child. Figuring he’s an easy target, the trio invades the man’s secluded home in an abandoned neighborhood. Finding themselves trapped inside, the young intruders must fight for their lives after making a shocking discovery about their supposedly helpless victim.
