Seriously? I think I just peed a little. For years now fans of this classic flick had to endure either subpar DVD bootlegs taken from worn-out VHS tapes or hope it was available on Netflix for some instant streaming. Now MGM is officially bringing this bad boy home!

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s “manufacturing on demand” (“MOD”) program continues to expand with the addition of the horror classic The Incredible Melting Man (1977) available through online retailers on August 23rd, 2011.

An astronaut contracts a disease that causes his flesh to melt. In order to stop the rapid deterioration of his flesh, he must feed on the flesh of other human beings. Stars Alex Rebar, Michael Alldredge, Burr Debenning, Myron Healey. Directed by William Sachs.
