68 Kill Getting the Scream Factory Treatment in Early January

Trent Haaga’s wild, chaotic, and wickedly funny 68 Kill (review) will be released by Scream Factory on January 9 on both Blu-ray and DVD options. Pre-orders are available at Shout Factory’s website.

I got the chance to see 68 Kill at SXSW earlier this year and I can safely tell you that it’s an absolute blast! Admittedly, the film kinda stumbles in the second act when AnnaLynne McCord steps out of the story for a little while but when she comes back in the energy picks right back up and things get exciting once again!

In the film, Chip (Matthew Gray Gubler), a sewage-drainer with absurdly low self-esteem/confidence, and his girlfriend Liza (McCord) decide to rob a local rich man. But when things go astray and the bloodshed begins, Chip is pushed to the limits of his love for Liza and his want to be a genuinely good person. Gory, absurd, and a thoroughly entertaining romp, 68 Kill is well worth your time!
