Blade of the Immortal (review) is Takashi Miike’s 100th feature film, and it looks like it could be one of his best.

Comic Book Resources have exclusively revealed an alternate release poster for Blade of the Immortal, which you can view below. The reason why the dude’s still standing despite being filled with so many arrows that he looks like a human pincushion is because he has been cursed with immortality. The film will see him embarking on a quest to help a young woman avenge the death of her parents.

Blade of the Immortal stars Takuya Kimura, Hana Sugisaki, Sōta Fukushi, Hayato Ichihara, and Erika Toda. The film grossed $6.8 million when it was released in Japan earlier this year, and it will arrive in limited release in the US on November 3 courtesy of Magnet Releasing.

If you missed it earlier, you can also enjoy the very red band trailer below.
