According to Variety, Warner Bros. is getting Haunted, buying Kripke’s spec script and setting up the project with Greg Berlanti through Berlanti Prods. and Kevin McCormick via his Langley Park banner.
Kripke (pictured right), creator and exec producer of The CW’s “Supernatural,” will also direct Haunted, a tale of a haunted house told from the ghost’s point of view.
Sure, we’ve seen this kind of slant before, most famously in Beetlejuice and to a certain extent The Others, but with Kripke behind it, we’re sure something delightfully twisted is just waiting to materialize.
More as it comes.
