The first trailer for Netflix’s “Devilman Crybaby” has been released and it is packed to the brim with nightmarish creatures and vast amounts of blood!
This is a brand new series based on Go Nagai’s Devilman manga, which began as a manga back in the early 70’s and has since been adapted into a TV anime that itself spawned dozens of spinoffs, including OVA’s, a live-action film, more manga, and various crossovers.
Directed by Maasaki Yuasa and written by Ichiro Okouchi, “Devilman Crybaby” will be streaming on Netflix in Spring of 2018.
Synopsis:
Akira Fudo learns from his best friend Ryo Asuka that demons will revive and reclaim the world from humans. With humans hopeless against this threat, Ryo suggests combining with a demon. With this, Akira becomes Devilman, a being with the power of demon but with a human heart.
