I was shocked when I heard the news, and truly saddened. I never got the opportunity to meet him and wish I did. In my opinion if it wasn’t for Romero I wouldn’t be playing the characters I am playing in my career.
He basically re-invented the horror genre without a major studio behind him and was successful. Thank you George for all you did, and for being a kind, humble person along the way.
