Today the film is The Clearing, coming to us soon from Texas director Daniel DelPurgatorio. The film follows a group of friends whose last minute trip goes very badly and they find themselves, as the official plot says, on a spiral into physical and emotional madness. They’re stuck in a small town, falling prey to the local underground who set them up in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Twitch Film got word that the official site for The Clearing has been updated with both a teaser trailer (see it here) and some proof of concept footage (see that here). The footage is for investors to see that he’s serious about making an atmospheric horror movie, and hopefully it works cause I like what I see so far!
