The Rome Film Festival, which will take place October 26th through November 5th, has announced that they will be honoring David Lynch with a lifetime achievement award, per ScreenDaily. The ceremony will include a presentation from Lynch where he discusses his career over the years as well as honoring three Italian directors who have influenced his own style, including Federico Fellini.
Also at the festival will be author Chuck Palahniuk, who will apparently host an onstage masterclass discussing horror movies.
Lynch is currently celebrating the revival of “Twin Peaks”, which airs on Showtime. The series brings back characters from the 25-year-old series and follows the events that take place after such a long hiatus. It has been met, so far, with critical acclaim.
