Starz Home Entertainment announced yesterday that it would be exclusively supporting Blu-Ray in the HD format wars and will be entering the market late this year with its debut releases: Season 1 of Masters of Horror.
Each disc will contain three epsiodes from the first season in glorious HD.
The news is doubly significant since Starz Entertainment goes by a different name when releasing horror titles: Anchor Bay.
While no other titles have been announced at this time beyond Masters of Horror Season 1, Anchor Bay will be Blu-Ray exclusive, so any horror fans hoping to own any of the great horror movies in the AB library will want to be looking to Blu-Ray for their HD fix.
