Cannes 2017: Lakeshore International Aiming to Sell Psychological Thriller Wanting

Lakeshore International is currently at Cannes aiming to sell international rights for the psychological thriller Wanting, according to Screen Daily. The film is produced by Robert Heydon with Sid Ganis, Sigurjon Sighvatsson, Donald Martin, and Rey Cuerdo acting as executive producers.

Per the site, Wanting, “…centres on a couple who move into their dream all-American home in New England with high hopes of starting a family. When they are shattered by a miscarriage, a malevolent presence begins to manipulate the wife’s fragile mind, causing her husband to doubt her sanity. It is only after a local medium reveals the menacing supernatural cause that the couple release they must fight the evil spirit that wants to claim their lives.

The film stars Adam Brody and Amanda Crew. Wanting was directed by Yam Laranas (The Road, Abomination, The Echo).
