Well, this is an interesting bit of news. Marcus Nispel, the director of the Friday the 13th and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remakes, is in pre-production for The Death of Me, a horror/thriller that will focus on a vacationing couple who fall prey to a strange and deadly ritual. The Film Catalogue states that the film will be completed this year, so hopefully we’ll begin seeing some more information towards the end of this year/beginning of next year.

Synopsis:
A couple on a tropical holiday awaken one morning with a hangover and no recollection of what transpired. When playing the video back of their previous night, they learn they participated in a ritual that somehow ended with the husband murdering the wife, though she’s very much alive.
