According to Deadline Michael Ealy (pictured right; Takers) has been set to play the male lead alongside Kate Beckinsale in Underworld 3D for Screen Gems and Lakeshore. Ealy will play a police detective who hunts the vampiress and then ultimately teams up with her.
Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein are directing the Sony Screen Gems sequel that will introduce us to Selene’s (Beckinsale) daughter on January 20th, 2012.
