British actress Natalie Dormer (aka Anne Boleyn on Showtime’s “The Tudors”) has joined the rapidly expanding cast of ABC’s “Poe” as a character named Celeste.

THR’s The Live Feed broke the casting news on Dormer, who is also slated to appear in the superhero blockbuster Captain America: The First Avenger.

Penned by Chris Hollier for Warner Bros. TV and Lin Pictures, “Poe”, which has Alex Graves handling the directorial reins for its first episode, is a new crime procedural TV series that will follow Edgar Allan Poe, the world’s very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston.

Dormer joins the previously announced Tabrett Bethell as Sarah and Christopher Egan as Poe along with Kevin McNally, who portrays Kyle Kilpatrick, and Leslie Odom, Jr.

Shooting begins March 14th in Toronto so look for more soon.
